Thanks for visiting my web page for New Horizons Counseling. In the most recent years of my career, I became interested in the power of the Brain-Focused research and the power of understanding how our internal executive-situationally focused brain, can allow us to direct our attention in multiple variations and solve problems.
Co-Parenting program started here at New Horizons in May of 2010. At that time, I was working as a therapist generally serving individuals, couples, and families.
We have come a long way in the last 10 years, and I focus on small groups and often receive recommendations from the courts to assist people to improve communications, to review and update current perceptions, and improve interpersonal relationship skills for the healthy psychological development of their children. Divorce or single parenthood is hard on everyone- but it was not the children’s fault that the adults could not get along.
As of July 2021, the intake fee for the 12 classes of the program is 35.00 which includes 2 court letters- one at intake and another at completion; 12 weekly program outline handouts; and a Certificate of Completion at the last class.
Class attendance is recorded per class fee of 25.00 (cash) with a weekly receipt, for the remaining 11 classes. Completion of classes is required to receive the Certificate and final letter to the court records. Clients always receive a copy of their individual class attendance and all communications to the court. The total program cost is $310.00 per person. Couples are always invited.
