So, how do you find the best therapist for you? That's a great question. And it's one that most people struggle with answering whether it's their first or umpteenth search. Is it the therapist themselves, their personality, theoretical approach or specialty? While all these factors are important, research shows that roughly 60% of successful therapeutic outcomes are the result of the relationship between the client and therapist. That said, it shouldn't be your responsibility to find the best clinician; rather it's the clinician's responsibility to become the best therapist for you.I'm an Associate Clinical Social Worker/Substance Abuse-Addiction Counselor with over four years of extensive professional experience in both mental health and addiction. Further, I have a personal background in overcoming addictions including smoking, drugs, alcohol, caffeine, pornography, eating as well as several mental health and learning disabilities.Whether you're seeking help to overcome addiction, mental health conditions, couples/marriage/family dynamics, life coaching, career/academic counseling, I've dedicated my professional life to becoming YOUR BEST clinician. Please allow me to demonstrate that commitment to you by contacting me for a free phone or in-person consultation.

Thanks for visiting my web page for New Horizons Counseling. In the most recent years of my career, I became interested in the power of the Brain-Focused research and the power of understanding how our internal executive-situationally focused brain, can allow us to direct our attention in multiple variations and solve problems.Co-Parenting program started here at New Horizons in May of 2010. At that time, I was working as a therapist generally serving individuals, couples, and families. We have come a long way in the last 10 years, and I focus on small groups and often receive recommendations from the courts to assist people to improve communications, to review and update current perceptions, and improve interpersonal relationship skills for the healthy psychological development of their children. Divorce or single parenthood is hard on everyone- but it was not the children’s fault that the adults could not get along. As of July 2021, the intake fee for the 12 classes of the program is 35.00 which includes 2 court letters- one at intake and another at completion; 12 weekly program outline handouts; and a Certificate of Completion at the last class.Class attendance is recorded per class fee of 25.00 (cash) with a weekly receipt, for the remaining 11 classes. Completion of classes is required to receive the Certificate and final letter to the court records. Clients always receive a copy of their individual class attendance and all communications to the court. The total program cost is $310.00 per person. Couples are always invited.
